OUR ACADEMICS
Lumen Christi Catholic School provides an outstanding education to students from 3K through 8th grade. Our dedicated faculty and administrators are committed to meeting the academic needs of every student across the educational spectrum. To maximize each student's potential, our school provides a rigorous academic environment, high expectations to motivate and challenge students, and learning specialists to provide support where needed.
OUR STANDARDS
Academic excellence is a hallmark of Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. In maintaining academic excellence the archdiocese's Office for Schools has developed curriculum guides that identify standards of what we want our students to know and be able to do at the end of each grade. We use these guides, in addition to national, state and local standards to develop a plan to articulate what is taught and how it is taught. To learn more about our academic standards, see the document at the bottom of this page.
PREPARATION FOR HIGH SCHOOL
In middle school, we also maintain positive relationships with area high schools (including Marquette and DSHA) in order to determine what is expected of incoming freshmen. Our goal is for our students to exceed their expectaions. The majority of our students place into honors classes in high school and remain on honor roll for their high school career.
