Hello, my name is Heather Szerbat. I graduated from St. Norbert College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Middle School Education and a Mathematics minor. I taught from 2003-2005 at St. Gabriel School in Hubertus. During that time I taught as a middle school Math Teacher, a Technology Teacher and Coordinator (K-4 through 8th Grade), and as a 6th Grade Literature Teacher. After relocating in 2005, I taught at Greenville Middle School until 2009 as an 8th Grade Language Arts and Pre-Algebra Teacher. I received my Master of Science in Education in School Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 2009. After taking time off from teaching to raise my daughters, I entered back into teaching at Lumen Christi Catholic School in 2017. I am thrilled to be working at Lumen Christi because it is truly a place where all students are provided with multiple ways to learn, grow, and blossom into the incredible individuals they are meant to be. Moreover, I could not envision myself working in another profession. I cherish playing a role in advancing students’ learning experiences and helping them to take knowledge from the classroom and apply it to their own lives.
