My name is Kerry Nackers. I graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 1996 with a major in Elementary Education and minors in Learning Disabilities and Spanish. I taught at two schools prior to coming to Lumen Christi Catholic School in 1998. Teaching 4th-8th grade Spanish was my first assignment; however, over the years I had the opportunity to teach other subjects including math, reading, language arts, and technology in addition to Spanish. I received a Master of Education in Instructional Technology degree from Cardinal Stritch University in 2008. During my 20th year at Lumen Christi, I began another new chapter in my career by teaching 5th grade literacy and social studies. It is a blessing to be part of the Lumen Christi community which provides the opportunity for students to experience rigorous academics in a faith-focused environment.
