My name is Kathy Lobins, and I am so excited about being part of the teaching staff at Lumen Christi Catholic School! I feel truly blessed and fortunate for the opportunity to teach children and incorporate Christian values.
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Special Education. I am licensed in special and regular education and have taught children with disabilities for 30+ years.
As a special education teacher, I have had many amazing experiences with students, parents, and colleagues. I think developing strong relationships with the teachers, students, and parents I work with is very important. I value student and parent input and feedback and strive to help students become successful independent learners.
I am married and have two daughters. My oldest daughter graduated from college last year, and my youngest just started college this fall. I love animals and have three dogs. They keep me very busy. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and watch and attend the Packers, Bucks, and Brewers games. I enjoy running and have been running since I was 14 years old. Running helps me relax and enjoy the outdoors.
