Mrs. Judy Button

Greetings, Lumen Christi families,
My name is Judy Button, and I am your new 3K teacher! I feel blessed to be able to join your Lumen Christi family. I have a BS in Elementary Education from Valparaiso University and my Reading Teacher License from Concordia University, Mequon. My past work experiences include several Paraprofessional positions in MTSD and Cedarburg School District, then ESL aide, 5th grade and 2 nd grade teacher in Brown Deer School District. I have also been a private tutor for 17 years. I started working at Kohl’s in their Childhood Development Center three years ago, teaching Pre-K and Twos classes. We have lived in Mequon for 25 years and moved into our present home, right across the street from Lumen Christi School, a year ago. My husband, Jim, and I have four lovely daughters and seven grandchildren. In addition, Jim and I have two dogs, Mordecai and Molly, who just turned three. I enjoy spending time with my family when I am not working, especially at our vacation home in Egg Harbor, WI. I also love to go boating, read, and travel, both internationally and throughout the US.
