Miss Laura Petrie

Hello! My name is Laura Petrie and I teach Middle School English Language Arts at Lumen Christi Catholic School. I started teaching at Lumen Christi in 2015 after graduating from St. Norbert College with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and minors in Language Arts and English as a Second Language Certification. I have attended Catholic schools her entire life, so I feel blessed to be a part of the Lumen Christi community. One my favorite things about teaching is sharing my love of reading with my students. For this reason, I makes an effort to read as many books as I can in my free time. Aside from reading, I also enjoy traveling, crafting, baking, biking, and spending time with family and friends.
